Healthy Life
Healthy lifestyle is not only to prevent illness but also for better physical and mental health. In fact, there is no such term as “healthy” that we use in everyday life without it. The word comes out for us through various types of scientific researches including medical studies, observation of daily behavior and the application of special instruments and methods for scientific research. Nowadays, we can observe such an increasing number of people with the help of modern science, which gives us a new vision of those people whom the name “healthy” appears. Many people say to be healthy, while others state that they have to lose weight (and then some).
People, who are unhappy and sad with their bodies, are in the world where they should try not to suffer and then forget about something so terrible for them, like their body, and then suffer a lot from the same disease. But, there is also an opinion in this world that it is not necessary to make people happy and not to care for their body only one person, but everyone should do. No matter what religion someone belongs to, no matter how long he/she lives and how many children or grandchildren they have, everyone should try to improve the health and wellbeing of his/her body. A healthy body is extremely important, but today we need to find ways to protect and maintain good health and then follow your body.
Today, a large number of different things can affect our body, and the way we consume food plays an important role in them. Eating poor diet is among the leading causes of death and morbidity of human being. According to a recent study, at least 40% of Americans are obese and almost 10% of American men and women suffer from a heart disease and diabetes. To sum up, nowadays, there is no longer such an evil ‘disease’ as cancer. Cancer today is the second-leading cause of deaths; it is estimated that over 100,000 people die because of this disease every year. It becomes obvious, therefore, that nowadays, poor diet is the main reason why human beings suffer from a certain mental and physical problem.
Food is an element that can determine health. Food is very important in today’s society, so it becomes even more obvious that food is one of the main factors, which influence the health of all human being. There are many kinds of food that people eat, but not only rich in proteins and fats, but food that has sugar, salt, etc., too. These elements affect health, adversely – in fact, people tend to get ill with a high level of acidity and cholesterol. This is why, nowadays most people avoid eating meat with cheese or eggs, etc. People should realize that it is very unhealthy and dangerous to rely on ‘healthy’ food, and if they need to eat this kind of food, they should pay more attention to healthful and balanced food, but not to rich foods, processed food and fast food. People should know that by choosing food high in protein, healthy fats and other elements of good nutrition, they will be healthier and will not get sick, and this is why most of them choose this type of food.
Nowadays, millions of people choose to eat organic food. Even though this is very difficult, it is always possible to change their habits. Some people prefer buying natural food with fewer chemicals, additives, GMO, etc., because they feel safer and have more control over food, and, furthermore, they have more time. However, the main thing that one can do is to limit the consumption of fast food and to choose more healthy organic food.
Nowadays, there are many doctors, who are active in developing people to live a better life; however, they cannot control people’s minds or their desires. One of the most common and, probably, less appreciated facts is that the majority of people in America get their health problems due to lifestyle and consumption of drugs, alcohol, smoking, sexual abuse, etc. The most common way to get rid of such a disease is to stop intake of smoking and drinking. If a person smokes, he/she can suffer from several chronic diseases. People, who are addicted to drugs, often get ill when they take them. Taking drugs at a young age can lead to a series of serious complications in adulthood, for example, high risk of lung cancer, cardiovascular diseases and the development of some infectious diseases. All these things can lead to a life of severe sickness. One of the ways for drug abstinence is smoking cessation programs or counseling programs of physicians and dentists, and another option, is the use of a combination of therapy and education.
There is much more than doctors and medicine that many people can do. They can support the efforts of many organizations and institutions, and also local communities. Every person should make sure that his/her life does not mean giving into the demands of materialistic or consumerist tendencies. Of course, this is very hard work that requires dedication and effort, but even more so commitment. People should remember that all actions and thoughts can be changed, and only a few people can change the life of someone else. Only people who feel that they are responsible for their lives can change it for the better and bring a change at once. Be patient, and wait for a time, in which you will meet new people, learn something new, meet new friends, try different activities and share the experience together. Believe in yourself and believe that your efforts and efforts will bring a positive result.
